WhatsApp Will Stop Working on Certain Smartphones

Jakarta – The world's instant messaging, WhatsApp will stop working from smartphones like iPhones, Samsung, Huawei, and Xiaomi.
WhatsApp will disappear on some older Android and iOS iPhone models because of WhatsApp's policy that no longer supports devices with outdated operating systems.
As stated on WhatsApp's official Help Center page, they announced that they will no longer support devices with OS specifications below Android 5.0, iOS 11 or below, and below KaiOS 2.5.0.

"We will periodically review which operating systems are supported and which are not. So, please update your device promptly," WhatsApp said in an official statement on Wednesday.
However, don't worry about not being able to use WhatsApp or being afraid of being late to switch to a newer device, as WhatsApp will provide notifications before discontinuing support for a device.
"Before we stop support for the operating system you are using, you will be notified on WhatsApp and reminded several times to upgrade the operating system," WhatsApp remarked.
However, it's not just iPhones, Samsung, Huawei, and Xiaomi, but several other phones will also no longer be supported by WhatsApp.
