Relocation of Belawan Facility Not Yet Final

VIVAnews - Minister of State-owned Enterprises (SOEs) said earlier that Belawan floating storage regasification unit, Lampung, will be relocated. In response to the plan, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (SOEs) has yet to take any decision on the design. 

"The presidential instruction which specifies on the matter is not yet revised. We're not gonna take any decision on the issue, yet," said Director General of Oil and Gas, Evita Legowo.

Evita said the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources will have more talks with state-run oil and gas company PT Pertamina, state-run gas company PT Perusahaan Gas Negara, and Ministry of SOEs as regards the relocation. 

The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources has nodded to the reimprovement plan of LNG Arun facilities and Belawan development.

A definite policy for either a relocation or a removal must be issued.
