VIVAnews - An autopsy has been performed over Herman, 34, an Indonesian worker who was shot to death in Malaysia. Another process is still underway on another dead victim, Abdul Kadir Jaelani, 25. In addition, Mad Noor, 28, will have his body autopsied on Friday.
Based on the post mortem examination, several organs in Herman's body have been taken away. When asked, spokesperson of West Nusa Tenggara Police Department, Adj. Chief. Comm. Sukarman Hussein, said the autopsy in a cemetery complex of Pancor Kopong Hamlet, East Lombok, had not yet finished.
Sukarman did not reply when inquired about the missing organs. "Who says that? The official press release will be presented by the Indonesia Police Headquarters," he told VIVAnews through a phone call on Thursday.
A political analyst from Migrant Care, Wahyu Susilo, said he had been informed of the autopsy report from Herman, counselor of the victims' families.
"It is not yet the time to announce the report. However, the families said they saw surprising facts," he said.
"Both eyes are gone. Traces of cuts were seen in the head. Plastic was found in the head. Some surgical instruments were left in the body. If such was the fact, then the family's doubt proves true," he said.
The victim's family witnessed the irregularities in Herman's body.
Are herman's heart and kidney gone? "I have no idea about it," he said.
The Malaysian authority has not yet circulated any official statement over the issue. Malaysian daily, The Star, today quoted a statement of a Malaysian official in a story who denies practices of organ theft toward the three dead Indonesian workers.
“An organ must be harvested as soon as someone dies, otherwise it is useless. As an example, corneas need to be collected within six hours of death, otherwise they cannot be used,” he said.
