List of Fourteen Countries Qualifying for the U-20 2023 Asian Cup

VIVA – The U-20 2023 Asian Cup qualifiers almost completed the entire series of matches on September 18, 2022. This football match resulted in 13 countries getting to the finals besides Uzbekistan who had already confirmed their place due to their status as the host.

The nine group winners and the four best runners-up have already qualified for the 2023 Asian U-20 Cup finals.

The Indonesian U-20 National Team is one of fourteen countries that will compete in Uzbekistan. Shin Tae-Yong's team qualified for the 2023 U-20 Asian Cup after winning Group F, with victories over Timor Leste (4-0), Hong Kong (5-1), and Vietnam (3-2).

In addition to the U-20 Indonesian national team, other countries that emerged as group winners are Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Japan, Jordan, South Korea, Oman, Tajikistan, and Iran.

While the other four countries that qualified as the best runner-up were Vietnam, Kyrgyzstan, China, and Syria.

There are still two empty slots left to complete the number of players for the 2023 Asian Cup U-20 become sixteen. In addition to the nine groups that have already completed the match, there is one more group that has not played at all, namely Group H which contains Iraq, Australia, India, and Kuwait.

The winners of Group H will certainly qualify for the finals, while the runner-up H must compete with Thailand, which is currently in the fifth position in the list of the best two rankings.

It is known, that the U-20 2023 Asian Cup will take place in Uzbekistan on March 1 to 18, 2023. The semi-finalists of the U-20 Asian Cup will have their share of appearing in the 2023 U-20 World Cup which will take place in Indonesia.
