VIVAnews - The Indonesian president has recently subject to a threat posed by a hardline mass organization Islamic Defenders Front (FPI). The organization said in a statement that President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono may in the future experience the similar situation in which former Tunisian Presidet Zine al-Abidine Ben Ali had been some time ago.
"The government must deal with the issue. The government must take firm action against it if necessary," said former Indonesian Vice President Jusuf Kalla today, Feb 14.
Moreover, Kalla said any mass organization should not pose such threat as one expressed by FPI spokesperson Munarman
On Friday, Feb 11, Munarman stated that if the President insists on disbanding mass organizations which put emphasis on violence, Islamic organizations are ready to oust Yudhoyono.
