It turns out, even though it’s known as a metropolitan city, Jakarta still has buildings that are famous for scary stories. The building is still left the same until now, but this building can be used for various activities, one of them is for making a movie.
Here are buildings in Jakarta that are haunted and have mystical stories:
1. Pondok Indah House

Several years ago, the story of the Pondok Indah house was even made into a movie. Located in the Dharmawangsa area. It was said, this house was occupied by a family.
After some time, the family was massacred by a herd of robbers, and since then, the house has become very haunted because it is often found things that do not make sense.
Including the story of the fried rice maker who entered this house and never came back.
2. Saidah Tower

Saidah Tower is one of the scary and haunted buildings in Jakarta. This building is located on Jalan MT. Haryono.
Before being abandoned, this luxury building was used as an office building in 2007. Then, closed and completely inoperable to date.
Many said, this building has a slanted construction. So, it is no longer used. Therefore, Saidah Tower became a gathering place for spirits and women in red.
3. Red Shop

The red shop is one of the buildings that has an attractive appearance because the building is red. This old building is often used as a tourist spot to take pictures in the Old City area, Central Jakarta.
This shop has a sad and scary story. Because, this shop was a silent witness to the torture and massacre of ethnic Chinese before finally being used as a shop in 1851 ago. In this building, it often heard the sound of crying, moaning, and clattering like the feet of soldiers.
