Toyota Yaris Cross Offers Many Safety Features for Driver, Passengers

Tangerang – Recently, PT Toyota Astra Motor (TAM) launched the Toyota Yaris Cross, a crossover SUV with hybrid technology. This eco-friendly car is made in Indonesia and is ready to be exported to various countries.
The Yaris Cross was introduced in mid-May and is produced directly at the PT Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia (TMMIN) plant in Karawang, West Java.
The car has many safety features for driver and also passengers, such as an anti-lock braking system (ABS), a stability control system (VSC), and various driver assistance systems, including a collision prevention system and a vehicle presence warning in blind spots.

While test drive this new car, you will notice an elegant and sporty cabin thanks to the dominant black color scheme and blue stitching on the seats.
The Yaris Cross hybrid features tilt and telescopic steering, allowing the steering wheel to be tilted forward, backward, up, and down, providing a comfortable driving position.
When first seated, the Yaris Cross feels quite high as it falls into the SUV segment. However, the seating position can be adjusted by pressing a button that is fully electrically controlled.
After finding the right driving position, our view was very clear, and the A-pillars did not interfere too much with visibility.
Overall, the driver's visibility is quite good, both from the front and from the right and left sides.
Equipped with hybrid technology, when the car is started, the cabin feels very quiet as there is no sound of the engine running.
When the gas pedal is pressed deeper, the sound of a conventional engine starts to be heard.
The gearshift also feels very smooth, with no hard thumping, making the driver and passengers feel comfortable.
In terms of handling, the Yaris Cross has a good steering system, and the turning radius is also quite wide, so the driver will feel comfortable when making a U-turn.
The Yaris Cross hybrid has three driving modes: Normal, Eco, and Power. When tried the Power mode, the power produced was significantly greater compared to driving in Normal mode.
As for the Eco mode, the power produced seems to be restrained because the aim is to make fuel consumption more efficient. This mode is particularly suitable when driving on urban roads.
The Toyota Yaris Cross also includes a blind spot warning feature, helping the driver recognize vehicles coming from unseen directions.
Additionally, this SUV has a panoramic roof with glass that effectively reduces heat, maintaining a cool temperature inside the cabin.
